Selena Gomez is on a full-fledge press tour to promote her new breakup songs "Lose You to Love Me" and "Look at Her Now." It started in Los Angeles last week, with a modest four outfits over two days. And now it's picking up steam in New York City, where Gomez has already worn three different outfits this Monday morning.

She started her day in a teal silk suit by Sies Marjan:

There will be likely more outfits over the next couple hours. Gomez has done fashion marathons like these before when she's in New York City, including the last time she visited in June. She wore six outfits over three days then, and this visit is already more intense.

Back in Los Angeles, Gomez started her press tour in a chic Givenchy black suit with Tabitha Simmons sandals last Wednesday. She visited Interscope Records then, hours before she released her first single "Lose You to Love Me."

For her interview with Ryan Seacrest, she wore a white sweater with black stripes:

Gomez has been talking a lot about her music and her healing process after her on-off relationship with Justin Bieber ended for the final time in March 2018 (and he moved on so quickly with his now-wife Hailey Baldwin). Gomez has never said his name during the interviews, but the subtext has been clear. This is the first time Gomez has spoken about how she felt last year.

In the most striking example, Ryan Seacrest asked her directly about her "in two months you replaced us" lyric from "Lose You to Love Me", which lines up with Bieber dating Baldwin roughly two months after his and Gomez's break became a breakup. Seacrest said in his opinion, an ex moving on so fast is more painful than the breakup itself.

Gomez agreed. "Yeah, I think you know, I’m really grateful too because I’ve actually experienced that a million times before," she said. "And that’s the unfortunate part about what I do. So it’s all very real to me, and I’m sure it’s just entertainment for other people, but I just—I think I had become numb to it, and it would be stupid of me if I didn’t acknowledge what I had felt because it would be inauthentic, and that’s everything I claim to be and do [being authentic]. I know there are thousands of people, men and women, who have felt this feeling, and it’s extremely real, and on top of the social media and everything, it doesn’t matter if you’re in my position or if you’re in someone’s because you’re always going to somehow find this negative space. It’s just that’s what—that’s why I have to be careful, and I just have to take steps back and just focus on what I’m doing and no one else."
