Selena Gomez Is Ringing in the New Year in Mexico Without Bieber

If you were hoping for New Year's Eve pictures of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, looks like you're out of luck. The 25-year-old actress and singer is currently in Mexico with a group of her girlfriends, and according to Instagram, the ladies will welcome 2018 together, as seems to be their tradition.

Per E! News, Gomez and her friends are staying at a private beachfront villa in Cabo, complete with an infinity pool.

"She seemed very excited when she landed and was giggling with her friends and taking photos," a source told E! News. "They are all planning to do some fun dinners and spend New Year's Eve together."

And, of course, they're spending plenty of time in the ocean, as well. One of Gomez's friends, Raquelle Stevens, shared an Instagram picture of the group posing on the beach in their bathing suits.

"Our 6th New Years together! Grateful for so many amazing memories," Stevens captioned the image.

Bieber, on the other hand, is reportedly in Ontario at the moment, where he's been playing lots of hockey. It looks like these two won't be sharing a New Year's kiss after all.

Though, he might show up last minute for the celebrations in Mexico—you never know!
