Selena Gomez Is on a Yacht with Friends Amid Justin Bieber Engagement News
Following the news that Justin Bieber is reportedly engaged to Hailey Baldwin, it appears that Selena Gomez isn't all that bothered about the news.
While fans are freaking out about the possible, rumored engagement of Bieber and Baldwin, Gomez is currently in New York, on a yacht with her friends. According to several social media fan accounts, Gomez appears to be more chill than she's ever been.
Jelena-shippers are probably a little upset right now, especially as Bieber and Gomez's latest reunion gave the world hope that they might finally make their relationship work.
Prior to starting up his relatively new relationship with Baldwin, reports claimed that Bieber was keen to win Gomez back. The on-again-off-again couple, who have gotten back together several times over, were rumored to have ended their romance for good earlier this year, with Bieber hanging out with Baskin Champion to allegedly try to make Gomez jealous. His ploy seemingly didn't work, and it wasn't long before a single Bieber started spending time with his other ex, Baldwin.
When Bieber and Gomez parted ways in March 2018, a source told E! News that Gomez was ready to move on, saying, "Selena realized even though he's made some positive improvements, they just aren't a perfect match right now." However, this reportedly wasn't the case for Bieber, with a source claiming to People, "He thinks and talks about Selena all the time-the chapter with her is definitely not finished... They weren’t getting along and decided to take a break."
However, it seems as though Bieber is finally moving on from Gomez.
