Selena Gomez Continuing to Live Her Best Life in New York City After Justin Bieber-Hailey Baldwin Engagement News

Maybe she heard about Justin Bieber’s surprise reported engagement to Hailey Baldwin; maybe she didn’t. But this afternoon, Bieber’s other once-rekindled ex Selena Gomez was out all smiles, hanging on a boat sailing around the Statue of Liberty with friends.

Her assistant Theresa Mingus shared an Instagram of Gomez chilling in her bikini alongside Lady Liberty.

Gomez was Bieber’s last official girlfriend before he and Baldwin got back together. Bieber and Baldwin went public in May while attending a church conference in Miami. As recently as two weeks ago, Entertainment Tonight reported that they were "casually dating."

Meanwhile, Jelena first went on a break at the beginning of March. According to sources then, friends wouldn’t have been surprised if they rekindled things again later...before Baldwin re-emerged. (Bieber reconnecting with Baldwin while dating Gomez reportedly led Jelena to go to couples’ therapy in December.)
