Serena Williams Says No Beer Pong at Royal Wedding

Of all the rumors to come out of the super-secret and star-studded royal wedding reception, the one claiming Serena Williams dominated beer pong was one of the best, because it seemed very possible. Yesterday, she cleared the air to say that it's false.

After her match at the French Open, she said the story was "not even remotely true" and she "doesn't even drink beer." She and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, did get a good laugh out of the story, though!

Let's be real, it seemed like unlikely that the royal reception, one of the most exclusive and high-class events of the year, would have a beer pong table, even though everyone knows Prince Harry is basically a frat boy at heart. Plus, if the Windsor fam did like a good game of pong every now and then, it'd probably be with like, very expensive champagne instead of beer.

And, it also seemed unlikely that Serena, one of the best athletes in the world, would even drink said beer in the first place. Her body is a temple, you guys. So yeah, this was an unlikely one, but a fun one nonetheless.

Don't worry though, Serena slayed the game in other ways, like with the dress she wore to the wedding:

I mean, come on. SNEAKERS. They're Valentino, btw. So even though she didn't come away from the reception as the beer pong champ, she's still a winner.
