Seven No-Bake Dessert Recipes to Make This Fall
Steven Karl Metzer
While autumn usually means pumpkin, apple, and pecan pies galore, sometimes it's nice to make a sweet treat that doesn't require any time in oven. In those moments, turn to these easy no-bake dessert recipes for fall, such as our adorable (and genius!) Candy Apple Pops, pictured above. Instead of dipping whole apples in caramel sauce, we've inserted popsicle sticks into large apple slices, which are then dipped in caramel, drizzled with melted chocolate, and topped with peanuts. From cheesecake with a gingersnap crust to pumpkin ice cream, the whole family can get in on the fun of preparing (and eating!) these simple sweets.

Poached Pears with Saffron Whipped Cream
Poached pears are a fabulous make-ahead, no-bake dessert for fall. In this recipe, they are poached with white wine, sugar, fresh orange juice and zest, cinnamon, and saffron; the pears soak in the syrupy liquid after cooking for a minimum of two hours, which infuse them with even more flavor. Instead of the usual ice cream or pound cake, serve them with saffron-infused whipped cream.
