The first part of Shane Dawson's controversial "The Mind of Jake Paul" docu-series is here and he's not holding anything back.

While Jake didn't appear in the first video, his voice could be heard in the beginning after sending several text messages and leaving a voicemail for Shane warning him about the possible backlash that he would receive from the series.

"I know you’re gonna get criticism for this. I don’t even think I have to warn you. People hate me. Like, literally, they hate me. If this is gonna hurt you, then I don’t wanna do it," he said. "If there’s anything we can do to avoid you getting hurt, we should do it. And we should just be as honest as possible about everything. I trust you."

Shane revealed that he would be talking to several people throughout the video series, including Jake's family, current friends, and people that he had fallouts with. For the first video, Shane talked to YouTube critic INabber to try to understand more about Team 10 and what happened to Jake's friend group and past girlfriends who left the team.

According to INabber, many members of Team 10 have paid to be a part of the group, including signing contracts that give Jake a percentage of the income that they make. A lot of the group's past stunts were also talked about and how Jake also bullies many of the members of Team 10, both physically and verbally.

Majority of the video talked about Logan's fall out with Alissa Violet and his fight against FaZe Banks over an alleged assault that took place.

"I think the fame might have gone to his head a little it. Maybe lost his mind slightly," INabber said.

He also mentions his family and how his brother, Logan Paul, is likely influenced by Jake's behavior to create crazy videos like him. Shane also added a video featuring Jake and his father, Greg, from an older video that was made after the Secret Service came to his house after he hid in the White House and snuck out at 3:00 AM. Greg didn't punish his son, but rather said that the Secret Service being there just meant that Jake was doing a good job getting material for his videos.

He focuses on the suicide forest video that Logan created and wondered if Jake was okay with that video being posted in the first place.

"I’ve seen videos of supposedly of him like (Jake) spitting on people, or like hitting or pushing Team 10 members, or doing really crazy things in videos, I wonder if even he would say the suicide forest video thing is next level and almost not human to do that," Shane said.

"I don't think he's a totally awful person. I think he's somebody that has reached this level of fame and he doesn't want to lose it," INabber said. "I think the whole thing of being popular for a lot of people on YouTube and especially for a lot of newer craze, you need to remove morals."

Shane posted on his Twitter after posting the first video, saying that, "this month I’ve learned that there’s way more than 2 sides to every story. In this case, there was 100 and in each part a different side is shared. I wanted to make it as fair and balanced as possible."

He also revealed that while he talked to several people for his videos, many others did not want to participate in it as their stories were hard to talk about on camera.

Shane will post part two of the series on September 27 and will be talking to a psychologist in hopes of finding out if Jake Paul is a sociopath based on his behaviors and videos.
