Shania Twain’s Bold New Hair Color Cause for Debate Among Fans

Fans certainly have some mixed feelings about the singer's new look and sound.

Shania Twain is not afraid of change.

The singer, 57, recently stepped out with a bold new hairdo unlike anything she's ever done, and her fans aren't afraid to let her know how they feel about it.

The "Man! I Feel Like a Women" songstress appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Friday to promote her new album, Queen of Me, which debuted on Feb. 3–and she showed up with a brand new look!

Twain said goodbye to her natural wavy brown locks and said hello to a brighter, bolder style that's long, straight, and platinum blonde.

The singer shared a clip from the show on Instagram, with Corden revealing he never thought he'd see a "Parental Advisory, Explicit Content" sticker on one of her albums. The two then proceeded to add F-Bombs into some of her most famous songs, and Corden even suggested she should pull a Taylor Swift and re-record the songs to make them explicit.

"Let’s f%#$ing go girls!! ?????? @latelateshow @j_corden #latelateshow" Twain captioned the post.

Shortly after she posted the video, many fans took to the comments to share their strong opinions on the singer's rebrand.

One user was quite frank, writing, "Do NOT like the blonde hair! ??," another questioned, "Why did she dye her hair blonde??."

Someone else even accused her of "going to the dark side," asking, "Who is this person? I raised my kids with Shania songs. So sad. She has gone to the dark side."

While some fans didn't agree with her new look, other fans said they don't love her new music, either, because, unlike her previous albums, this one features some explicit language.

"Not happy with her language nothing to be impressed by 'I'm not impressed by that,'" one fan wrote, quoting her song, "That Don't Impress Me Much."

Twain's loyalists were quick to come to her defense, with one writing, "Can she explore different looks and not get crucified for it? As if y'all have never changed your hair colour before. Chill...it's not forever."

"I love her ??… for people who don’t like this side of her, too bad too sad. She’s human and I love that she’s sharing a side of her that we’ve never seen before. Makes me love her more. @shaniatwain you be you girl, I’m here for it!" one fan wrote.

Everyone will always have their own opinions, but as for ours, we love seeing Twain experiment with all new styles–both in music and fashion!
