Shaquille O'Neal Gives Family a Generous Gift During Home Depot Visit
Shaquille O'Neal made a family's day with a sweet gift.
In a clip, the basketball legend is seen approaching a mother and daughter at Home Depot, introducing himself. He asked what they were going to buy and when they responded saying they were purchasing a washer and dryer, he exclaimed, "I'm going to pay for it."
The family was thrilled. "Oh my god, Mami, he's going to buy us the washer and dryer," said the daughter in Spanish to her mom. The mother got emotional, hugging O'Neal after hearing about his amazing gesture. The daughter joined in on the hug, and the family took selfies to commemorate the incredible moment. Afterward, O'Neal met the rest of the family, picking up the mother's son and playfully swinging him.

The NBA icon-turned-DJ turned his day at Home Depot into a music video for his song "I Know I Got It," giving a glimpse at his other antics throughout his time at the home improvement store. He wore the orange Home Depot employee apron, took pictures with employees, used a plank of wood as a karate board (and failed to break it), and showed his strength by seamlessly picking up a big carpet.
Shaq's Home Depot visit was prompted by the viral photo of "Home Depot Girl," whose name is actually Ariana Cossie. In the music video, he enlists employee JP to help him search for the Houston-based woman, who received over 100,000 likes in a tweeted selfie wearing her store uniform. After she went viral and received some sexist comments, O'Neal DM'd her words of encouragement.
Some familiar names showed their love for his video in the comments. Jeremy Renner wrote, "Love you brother. Thanks for making my day ?????????????? ," and Anderson Paak remarked it was "OUTSTANDING!! ??????????????????????????."
