Shaquille O'Neal Is Performing At Lake Tahoe's Largest Ski Resort This Season

Your eyes don't deceive you. Yes, that Shaquille O'Neal is performing a live DJ set at Palisades Tahoe, CA this season!

Coming off the success of last season's Base To Base Gondola Launch Party that saw popular DJ Dillon Francis headline, Palisades Tahoe is hosting a music festival called 'Tahoe Live' on December 15th and 16th.

The festival is headlined by Shaq, known by his stage name of DJ DIESEL, and Canadian EDM star DJ REZZ. More details below:

Last year's Gondola Launch Party was free, but this year's festival will require a paid ticket to attend. General Admission starts at $34.99 for one day access and $79.99 for a two day pass. Ikon Pass holders receive a $10 discount.

I had a blast attending the Launch Party last season.

The crowd was a little bit overwhelming, but the vibe of dancing to great music in view of the Tram Face and under the Gold Coast Funitel was something I won't soon forget.

This year's festival is lining up nicely for me to be able to attend. I'm making the move to the Tahoe area in November -- meaning I don't have a reason not to attend.

Plus, how could I miss out on the opportunity to see an NBA Hall of Famer play a DJ set at one of my favorite ski resorts in the world?

There's also the possibility that Mike Rogge from Mountain Gazette, Cody Townsend, and Michelle Parker will end up skiing with Shaq. No, seriously.

They shot their shot, at least. See the Tweets below.

Keeping all of my digits crossed we see Shaq descending Palisades' 'Home Run' on a pair of comically short skis for his stature.

That would be the treat of a lifetime.
