I’m officially a blow dry convert.

So many of my current habits started during the pandemic, from wearing compression leggings to investing in skincare to finally using an exfoliating scrub regularly. If there’s one habit that I completely abandoned, though, it’s drying my hair. For the last few years, I’ve barely picked up a blow dryer. I air-dry my hair with a little product most days, and that’s that. That is until I found the Shark SpeedStyle Hair Dryer.

The Shark SpeedStyle Hair Dryer is the latest addition to Shark’s growing lineup of hair tools. Designed to dry hair in a matter of minutes (which it does), the sleek and slim hair tool is super lightweight, weighing in at just over a pound and a half. It doesn’t use extreme heat to give you a perfectly coiffed ‘do, either, maxing out around 230 degrees Fahrenheit — well below heat-damaging temperatures. It has several heat settings and fan speed settings, and a cool shot for setting your hair after drying it.

Where the Shark SpeedStyle Hair Dryer really shines, though, is its attachments. It has six compatible attachments that you can swap out depending on your needs, including a touch-up brush that you can twist through your ends for bouncy blowouts, a diffuser to help give you springy curls, a turbo concentrator for a straight finish, a volumizing brush, a comb to lift curls, and a flyaway tamer. (Whew.) On Shark's website, you can customize which of the attachments you want depending on your hair type and blow-dry style, while at Amazon, you can choose from two pre-configured attachment bundles.

For me, the hero attachment is the RapidGloss Finisher, which can zap flyaways in no time flat. To use it, you run it over sections of your hair lightly, kind of like a steamer. I find it especially helpful since I live in a humid climate. It can tame the areas where I have a lot of frizz, such as the postpartum baby hairs around my face. I love that it allows me to be quick and lazy when doing the actual drying — I know the attachment will have my back and make me look super presentable, no matter how clunky the actual drying was. I love this thing so much I actually look forward to drying my hair.

If you’re looking for a compact, easy-to-use, lightweight hair dryer with lots of attachment options, then you’ll want to check out the Shark SpeedStyle Hair Dryer ASAP.
