He opened up about fatherhood and raising his kids to not be "entitled jerks."
Mark Cuban may be the richest star on Shark Tank, but no one’s spoiled in his house.
The reality star and entrepreneur shares three kids with his wife, Tiffany. Considering he’s worth an approximated 4.1 billion dollars, you might assume that his children, Alexis, 16, Alyssa, 13, and Jake, 10, have everything they could ever want. But Mark and Tiffany try not to make it too easy on them.

“I tell them, look, after your health my number one thing for y’all is I don’t want you to be entitled jerks,” he told Steve Harvey in an interview. “I want you to know what I had to go through, what my parents had to go through, and you’re gonna have to work for it.”
He continued, “I’m just not going to write you checks, you don’t just get a credit card, you can’t just buy whatever you want. You get a job.”
Mark is actually practicing what he preaches, too, as evidenced by his oldest daughter’s choice in summer activities.
“So my sixteen-year-old had an internship this summer where she actually worked and did a good job and made her own money and…when she makes it she can spend it on whatever she wants. And she still saved it for the most part so I give her credit.”
Still, she is a teenager and he admits Alexis likes to push her boundaries. But like any dad, he keeps an eye on her.
“We put some reigns on her, but anytime she uses her credit card I get to see what she’s spending her money on and we get to have a conversation,” he said. “But she’s a good kid.”
