Sharon Osbourne Gives Ozempic Update After Accidentally Getting 'This Thin'
Sharon Osbourne is among the many celebrities who've tried Ozempic, but after losing over 40 pounds, the TV personality is speaking out about the dangers of the controversial weight loss drug.
While appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored with her family, Sharon was asked by Piers Morgan why she decided to stop using Ozempic. "You can't stay on it forever, firstly. I've lost 42 pounds now and it's just enough," she said.
"It's just time to stop," the 70-year-old admitted. "I didn't actually want to go this thin, but it just happened. I'll probably put it on again soon."
When Morgan inquired about what it's like to go on the drug, The Talk UK host shared, "At first, you feel nauseous. You don't throw up physically, but you've got that feeling and I was about two, three weeks [into taking Ozempic] when I felt nauseous the whole time. You get very thirsty and you don't want to eat. That's it."
She added, "That's why I keep saying, you've got to keep this stuff away from younger people because they will go berserk on it and it's not right."
The Osbournes alum had previously spoken about the negative side effects of Ozempic while appearing on Bill Maher's podcast Club Random. At the time, she noted that though she'd stopped taking the drug in December, she kept losing weight due to the lingering effect of appetite loss.
