Sharon Osbourne Issues Warning To Meghan Markle After Calling ‘Harry & Meghan’ A ‘Disrespectful Whine Fest’: ‘Move On’

Piers Morgan isn’t the only one with an opinion on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan. His good friend Sharon Osbourne, 70, was also willing to throw her two cents in while appearing on his TalkTV show Uncensored, and although she has sometimes defended the couple in the past – even going as far as saying she felt “sorry” for them at one point – she had much harsher words this time around, calling the docuseries a “disrespectful whine fest.” Ouch!

“It was all very distasteful Piers. I was totally bored by the whining, the whining, the whining,” Osbourne confessed, before going on to address the controversial moment in the show which saw Meghan, 41, mock the fact that she had to curtsy to the late Queen Elizabeth II when they met for the first time, which *many* people have been offended by.

“And you know, the curtsy and the thing she said about medieval times, the lunch with the Queen was like medieval times which as you know is a Disney-type entertainment place for kids. It is just so horribly disrespectful and just a whine fest,” she continued, before going on to say that she hopes Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, released on January 10th, 2023, will be a little different. She added: “I mean is the book going to be the same thing? Whining, whining, is there going to be no positive points?”

Osbourne, like many other critics of the docuseries, said that she didn’t like the way the Sussexes played the victims, adding that they should have used their platform to raise awareness for their charity rather than the way they have been treated by the media and the royal family. "It's trash," she said. "There is nothing about themselves and this is a great time for them to keep talking about their charity but no. It is about them being these poor little children who are so much in love and how abused they have been, their race, the way they act."

"Everything has been abused by the public, by the press, by the Royal Family. Well, do you know what? You have a great life, you have a beautiful family, and you are so much in love, move on, get a life and move on."

Sharon Osbourne Previously Said She Felt 'Sorry' For The Sussexes After Platinum Jubilee

Osbourne previously told Fox News that she had a lot of sympathy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex; especially after the events of the Platinum Jubilee earlier this year. She said she "felt sorry" for the couple, in particular "the way that they were parted from the family," we assume in reference to the fact that they were only invited to one official event over the whole four-day celebration, and also their position in the second row of St. Paul’s Cathedral during the Service of Thanksgiving for The Queen’s reign on Friday, June 3rd.

However, Morgan was quick to counter his friend's statement, asking, "Why should we feel sorry for them given the way they’ve trashed this family in public so often?" To which the former The Talk co-host replied, "I do feel sorry for him because I think that there must be a huge part of him that regrets," she added, in reference to Prince Harry, before going on to talk about his and Meghan's minimal appearance at Trooping the Color.

"I mean, can you imagine how he felt yesterday [at Trooping the Color] with the whole family in that procession and he would have normally been there on one of those horses with his uniform and everything. And there he was, shushing the children," Osbourne continued.

Although they didn’t have as big a part to play at Trooping the Color as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for example, a source revealed that Harry and Meghan *were* invited to other events, such as the Party at the Palace concert on Saturday, June 4th. However, the source said that they decided against attending the star-studded event, as it clashed with their daughter Lilibet's first birthday. "Harry and Meghan could’ve gone to the Party at the Palace, but decided to keep a low profile on Lilibet’s birthday and celebrate in private," an insider told US Weekly. "It was more important for them to be together as a family than attend the concert, especially as The Queen couldn’t make it," they added.

Another source told the pub that the seating arrangements at the Service of Thanksgiving didn’t have anything to do with the feuding royal brothers, as they were actually chosen in advance by the Palace. "Senior members of the royal family were seated in the front row and non-senior members in the second row," another royal insider told US Weekly, adding that Harry and Meghan sat apart from Prince William and Kate Middleton "to avoid any unwanted attention."

Sharon Osbourne also weighed in on the strained relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family while appearing on Fox & Friends, and seemingly gave some advice to the Duchess of Sussex about fixing her own relationship with the British press, who she admitted have been "really hard" on her since she came to the country.

"The press were really, really hard on Meghan when she came to England, but they're hard on so many people," Osbourne said on the show. "They were hard on [Queen Consort] Camilla, but you know, you stick it out, you do what you have to do for your country, you win them over. But they didn’t really give it a chance."

At the time, Osbourne also briefly touched on Prince Harry's bombshell memoir and whether she thinks he will – or should – still release it. "I think I read that he was going to rewrite some of it," Osbourne continued, before going on to discuss the potential delay in its release. "Whether it's true, I don’t know. But I think he was putting it off because I think he probably had done something that he regretted." Yikes!
