Sharon Osbourne Opens Up About Brutal Side Effects Experienced While on Ozempic
Many celebrities have praised Ozempic for its controversial use as a weight loss drug. However, not everyone's had a positive experience with it—including Sharon Osbourne.
On the latest episode of Bill Maher's podcast Club Random, the 70-year-old was complimented by the Real Time with Bill Maher host on her weight loss. "You look great, really. You look like 20 years younger. How did you do that?" asked Maher.
Osbourne gave a candid answer, responding, "Through the f---ing injection that everybody takes!"

"Listen, when you've got a weight problem and you've tried everything, and then somebody says 'Take this injection and you're gonna be skinny…" said Osbourne before Maher interjected, noting, "I would never, but I'm crazy, I'm very paranoid about any foreign substances in my body."
Maher inquired further about the former reality TV star's experience and got some vivid details, to say the least. "For me the first week was f---ing s--t because you just throw up all the time and you feel so nauseous," shared Osbourne.
However, the vomiting didn't last too long. "After a couple of weeks, it goes and then you're just fine. You're just not hungry," she said.
Osbourne also disclosed that she's currently off Ozempic, and her hunger hasn't returned. She also noted that its appetite-reducing effects likely still continue because her body has changed since she started the controversial medication in December.
The Osbournes alum isn't the only celebrity who's spoken out about the drug's uncomfortable side effects. During her Watch What Happens Live appearance in June, Amy Schumer told Andy Cohen, "I was one of the people that felt sick. I couldn't play with my son."
