Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne Smooch on Romantic Hawaiian Getaway
The celebrity couple recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
The romance is still very much alive between Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
After celebrating 40 years of marriage in July, the two went on a romantic getaway that Sharon showed off on social media.
Sharon and Ozzy traveled to beautiful Hawaii, and while there, they spent a lot of time relaxing and swimming.
Sharon posted a sweet moment on Instagram between her and her husband with a photo of them sharing a kiss in the pool.
She simply captioned the picture with a palm tree and heart emoji.
While the photo was taken in the sunny daytime, Sharon also showcased the incredible sunset view from their accommodations in a short video that she also shared on Instagram.
The caption read, "aloha ahiahi," which translates to "good night" in Hawaiian.
The trip was extra special, too. As four decades ago, on July 4, 1982, the pair said 'I do' in the tropical destination.
In celebration of their big anniversary, Sharon also penned a touching message to Ozzy on social media, accompanied by an adorable photo of the two.
In it, she wrote: "2022 is a special year for me. It marks 40 years of marriage to my darling Ozzy. We first met when I was 18, over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband & wife, grandparents and soulmates. Always at each other’s side. I love you Ozzy ~ Sharrrrrrron."
As for Ozzy, he too posted a throwback photo but this one was taken on their wedding day. With both the bride and groom donned in white and flashing dirty blond hair, it's certainly a sharp contrast from their much darker, current look.
"40 Years Ago Today! Happy Anniversary My Love," he cheered in the caption.
While there has been a lot of celebration for Sharon and Ozzy this year, the rock star previously underwent a serious surgery in June–right before their anniversary. Sharon spoke a little about it on The Talk UK.
"He has a very major operation on Monday and I have to be there. It's really going to determine the rest of his life."
Luckily, everything went well, and Ozzy has already returned to performing.
Billboard reported that he made a surprise appearance at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games in England with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi.
