She's Baaaaack: Christina Aguilera Just Dropped a New Song and Music Video from Her First Album in 6 Years

As if we needed more proof the ’90s are back (Four Weddings and a Funeral remake, anyone?), queen of pop Christina Aguilera just released her initial single, “Accelerate,” from her first studio album in six years.

According to Billboard, the new album, called Liberation, is out June 15 and will contain 15 tracks (one with a Demi Lovato duet—yes!) from the new, fresh-faced Aguilera. The debut track, “Accelerate,” features Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz and sounds like something that would come on in a really crowded, dimly lit bar (and we wouldn’t be mad about it).

“I love you. I know you’ve been waiting. It needed to be perfect for you. For me. I’m ready. It’s time. I’m finally feeling liberated,” Aguilera said in a video she posted to her Instastory Wednesday.

We’re so ready too, Xtina.
