She's a Lady! Tessa Thompson Is Lending Her Voice to ‘Lady and the Tramp’

Tessa Thompson is trading her Westworld gear for noodles in the brand-new Lady and the Tramp movie.

Disney recently announced the actress will star alongside Justin Theroux in the live-action/CGI hybrid remake of the 1955 animated film. Thompson will voice the pampered cocker spaniel, Lady, while Theroux will portray the stray mutt, Tramp.

Lady and the Tramp will also star Ashley Jensen (Ugly Betty) as the Scottish terrier, Jackie; Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange) as the English bulldog, Bull; and Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as Lady’s owner, Darling. Charlie Bean (The Lego Ninjago Movie) will direct the remake, while Andrew Bujalski (Results) will pen the script.

We’ll take nothing but the best. Lady and the Tramp is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2019.
