At just 28 years old, Tinashe has already made a name for herself. While she is a dancer and an actress, most know the Kentucky native primarily as a singer. Her magnetic voice is behind smash hits like “2 On” and “All Hands On Deck.” The artist is part of Forbes’ 30 under 30 class of 2022 and is In The Know’s December digital cover star.
This month’s cover shoot by photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis took place at Industria Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Tinashe wore a variety of looks featuring luxury designers, including The Blonds, Lapointe and Norma Kamali. Andrew Gelwicks styled all of her incredible looks, assisted by Kyle Gleason and Zaria Fonville.

Tinashe also sat down for an interview with Elaine Welteroth, In The Know’s consulting editor at large, over Zoom. The two talked about everything from how her father inspired her career to the #FreeBritney movement and how she uses manifestation.
