Sienna Miller Is Giving Us '90s Flashbacks With Her Barrette
When we saw Sienna Miller’s latest red carpet look, we thought for a second that we were staring at a photo of her from the late 1990s or early 2000s. But it was actually her look from Wednesday night’s London premiere of her new film, Live by Night.
With her hair down and the front held back by a barrette on the right side of her head, along with maroon lipstick, spaghetti straps, and a big flouncy flower below her left shoulder, the actress looked very Kirsten Dunst circa Get Over It.
Seriously, when was the last time someone wore her hair in a barrette that way? Well, Dunst hasn’t worn a hair clip in years, and that says a lot, as she definitely is the queen of that hairstyle.
Miller’s black-and-white Lanvin floor-length dress had the satin slip dress design that women loved during the 1990s. And the big black flower was the icing on the cake. She might as well have taken that from one of our childhood headbands and stuck it on the dress. Her blunt makeup, including some heavy lip liner, stuck to the late-’90s theme.
She accessorized with a suede clutch and Stephen Webster white gold and diamond earrings, ring, and bracelet for some sparkle and shine.
Of course, we totally approve of the look. Not only does Miller look stunning — she could wear a lampshade and look stunning, oh wait, she just did — but we love a good fashion #TBT in real time.
