  • Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister Samantha Markle just gave an interview about the royal baby, once again trying to get sympathy for herself and her dad Thomas Markle.

  • That said, Meghan has reportedly "moved on" from all of this family drama.

While most people are very excited that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry finally welcomed their royal baby Archie Harrison earlier this week, one person who seems, uh, conflicted about the newest member of the royal family is Meg's estranged half-sister Samantha Markle.

On Wednesday, Samantha issued a very long statement about Meghan's giving birth, which included her saying, "We’re all welcoming the baby-Markles, Raglands, Sussexes, Windsors. In terms of the gene pool, we’ve all made a contribution to this wonderful little boy...I want him to know he’s got a big family and he’s part of an amazing historical time and we’re excited for him. We’re excited for Meg and Harry-I am really excited for her. I love her, she’s my baby sister and it doesn’t matter what we’ve all said back and forth but she’s got to do the right thing."

And that seems suspiciously nice for a woman who has previously called Meghan a DuchASS and compared Prince Harry to a hamster, right? Well, the friendly tone didn't last very long, because yesterday Samantha gave an interview to the Mirror, trying to drum up sympathy for herself and her dad Thomas Markle while dragging poor Doria Ragland in the process.

Samatha talked about her dad not being included in the birth saying, "It’s sad. He should have been involved. Being excluded is like a dagger through his heart...And poor Master Archie is not getting to know a creative, loving person.”

She also decided that Meghan's mom Doria should have stepped in and encouraged Meg to include Thomas in welcoming Archie, saying, “She could have said ‘get your dad out here.' But sadly there seemed to be a lack of effort...Doria hasn’t tried to mend the rift between Meghan and her dad...I think everyone’s been hoping Doria and Meghan would have an epiphany, but I don’t know if it will ever happen."

And it looks like Samantha might be right about that-according to reports, Meghan has "moved on" for all of this family drama, so it looks like she won't be having this "epiphany" that Samantha is hoping for.
