Simone Biles Nails Practice Routine Set to Taylor Swift Hit Song Hours Before 2024 Olympics Begin
Simone Biles proved that she's ready for the 2024 Olympics!
The star gymnast dominated the podium training before the start of the games on July 26, showing off her viral floor routine featuring Taylor Swift's hit song "...Ready For It?"
The entire U.S. gymnastics team went through their various routines on July 25 in Paris, France, with Biles practicing the floor routine many fell in love with during the past couple of months. As floor routines can't include lyrics, Swift's vocals don't make an appearance, but the intense beat at the start of the song is just as memorable, starting at roughly the 1:30 mark in the video.
Biles will officially show off her Swift-inspired floor routine on the world stage on July 28 during the Women's Qualification rounds. She originally gained attention for the routine earlier this year, with Biles performing the new routine at the 2024 U.S. Core Hydration Classic.

Biles then presented the routine once more at the 2024 Olympic Trials, and this time around, Swift responded. Seeing a clip of Biles' floor routine, Swift wrote on X, "Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho??????????????."

During the podium training, Biles also nailed the Yurchenko double pike vault, which also goes by the name "Biles II," as the gymnast is the first woman to perform it successfully in an international competition. Fans watching ahead of the official Olympics called the 27-year-old "magical" and "extraordinary."
Along with Biles, the U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team consists of Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera. Every member except for Rivera has participated in the Olympics before. Rivera, who is only 16 years old, is officially the youngest athlete representing the U.S. at this year's games.
In Biles' case, she currently holds seven Olympic medals, with four gold, one silver and two bronze. She is expected to add to this number at the Paris Olympics.
