Simu Liu Rocks 3 Cool Suits for 2024 People's Choice Awards Hosting Gig: See His Outfits!
The actor returns to the award show after winning the action movie star award in 2021
Simu Liu was well-suited at the 2024 People's Choice Awards.
The Shang-Chi and the Legend of 10 Rings actor, who was nominated for Barbie tonight, wore a trio of fashionable fits for the show.
Liu, 34, first stepped onto the red carpet in a classic maroon suit paired with a pale purple button-down shirt, dark red shoes and a gold Fernando Jorge necklace.
On the carpet he posed with his girlfriend Allison Hsu, who wore a flowy pink dress, as well as his Barbie costar America Ferrera (below), whose balletcore-meets-Barbiecore gown featured a baby pink skirt adorned with a huge bow.
Liu then headed inside the venue and to kick off the ceremony in an icy blue suit styled with matching boots. He channeled his inner Ken-ergy by going shirtless underneath his tailored blazer.
To close out the show, the actor rocked an indigo suit teamed with a salmon-hued shirt underneath.
This marks the second time the Canadian actor has attended the star-studded show. In 2021, he took home the award for action movie star for his breakout role as Shang-Chi in the titular Marvel movie. Then, he wore an all-black ensemble.

"Holy crap!" he exclaimed in his acceptance speech. "Thank you to all of you guys. You're the reason why I'm here. Not just here tonight accepting this award, but here living my dream every single day." He also expressed gratitude to everyone who voted in the category including his parents who he joked made half the contributions.
Before he left the stage, he left his audience with a hopeful message inspired by his own journey.
"I went to college for finance and accounting and it was because I didn't have the courage inside me to give myself the courage to pursue what I truly wanted. So whatever that means for you guys, it all starts with permission to yourself."
