Sinéad O'Connor Shared Major Album Update 2 Weeks Before Her Death
Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor died on July 26 at the age of 56. But only two weeks before her death, she shared a major album update with her fans.
The late artist posted on Twitter on July 8, writing a long update announcing that she had moved back to London, was almost done with a new album and was planning to tour in the future.
She wrote, "Hi All, recently moved back to London after 23 years absence. Very happy to be home : ) Soon finishing my album. Release early next year : ) Hopefully Touring Australia and New Zealand toward end 2024. Europe, USA and other territories beginning early 2025 : ) #TheBitchIsBack."

Fans of O'Connor, whose first studio album The Lion and the Cobra came out in 1987, were excited about the possibility of new music from the artist.

"Sensing your joy brings me so much joy. I’ll be lining up for tickets if you come by way of the Pacific Northwest in the US.," commented one fan.
Another wrote, "So glad to hear you’re making music again. We are lucky to hear you in these troubled times. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us."
Unfortunately, O'Connor passed away, leaving her unfinished album behind, and only time will tell if the music will ever be released.
The last studio album O'Connor–who legally changed her name to Shuhada' Sadaqat but still performed under her birth name–released was I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss in 2014.
In total, the Irish musician released 10 studio albums, along with over 50 singles and many collaborations with other artists throughout her illustrious career.
