Singer Maren Morris Ties the Knot With Ryan Hurd
It’s been one amazing month for Maren Morris! After snagging an impressive four ACM award nominations, the singer has yet another huge reason to smile, as she’s just said “I do!” to her sweetheart and fellow musician Ryan Hurd.
The 27-year-old Texas native walked down the aisle on Saturday in Nashville. Incidentally, it’s the same city where she first met her now hubby five years earlier, when the two were tasked with writing a song for Tim McGraw.
The guest list included family and friends, as well as some familiar faces from the world of music, including Kree Harrison and The Voice’s Cassadee Pope, who teased in an Insta Story that she was “Gonna go watch some friends tie the knot.”
While there’s no photos to speak of just yet, the bride did share an adorable snap of herself and her beau earlier in the week, telling fans that she was “Writing vows, feeling sentimental AF, and dreaming of this guy being my freaking husband in a few days.”
A day later, her 31-year-old hubby offered up a romantic gesture of his own with the release of “Diamonds or Twine,” a song he penned for his love just before their engagement. “I wrote this song for you, played it for you in Michigan the night I asked you to marry me,” he revealed. “Diamonds or Twine, no matter what, I’ll be wrapped around your finger. I love you, MM. Here’s to forever.” Aww!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
