Singer Sia Shows Off Facelift After Years of Hiding Her Face
Sia got candid about a recent beauty procedure.
The singer—who is best known for covering her face with oversized colorful wigs (oftentimes with bangs and bows)— showed off the results of a facelift during an appearance at the 5th annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles on Oct. 1.
The “Unstoppable” singer revealed that she underwent the procedure while presenting her surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei, with the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine award.
"I'm a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn't lie about s--t,” she began, adding, "I got an amazing face lift from Dr. Talei. He is incredible. And he is doing so much good work—and not just for the pop stars of the world.”
The “Chandelier” crooner couldn’t get over how incredible the procedure turned out, stating, “I was showing someone in the back my before-and-afters right before I came on."
"People go, 'You look nice.' I'm like, 'Dr. Ben Talei, face lift' for like anything you could ever want," she added. "I love him, I can't say enough good about him."

Talei only had good things to say about Sia in his acceptance speech calling her an “amazing” person.
"She really is, like you can see—a bright ray of sunshine and made my nieces and nephews' days. She invited them over to her house for a big party, and the whole family loves her. I'm super grateful,” he said.
Dr. Talei previously told E! News that the secret to his impressive and sought-after results is keeping it “natural” by “respect[ing] the anatomy" of the face.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the cosmetic procedure is typically done to give the face a more youthful appearance and to reduce sagging skin. In a traditional facelift, the skin on the face is pulled back with tissues repositioned and muscles lifted before excess skin is removed.
