Singer's bizarre outfit at American Music Awards

When it comes to the American Music Awards celebrities often like to be a bit daring with their outfits in order to make a statement on the red carpet

However 23-year-old singer Poppy took things too a whole new level of EXTRA and we’re not sure how to feel about it.

The ‘Lowlife’ singer rocked up to the carpet in a pink ruffled v-neck dress with a mesh cut-out that bared her pierced stomach, a high cut thigh-slit right down the front and a lengthy train at the back.

As if the dress wasn’t already enough the blonde bombshell decided to pair it with a gleaming black muzzle, black stockings and funky bow-tie shows.

She then added a touch of glam with a mini pearl beaded handbag.

There’s no denying the whole get-up was a little bit odd, with the black mask channelling a Hannibal Lecter in The Silence Of The Lambs kind of vibe.

However Poppy completly owned the look while pulling off some strange poses on the carpet including one that saw her crouch down and drag her beaded handbag on the ground.

Safe to say she certainly made a statement – whether it is a good one or not, we’ll leave up to you to decide.
