Daniel Martin is a celebrity makeup artist who’s worked on the likes of Elisabeth Moss, Olivia Palermo and Meghan Markle (whose makeup he did for a little event called the royal wedding). We Are Wild Solid Clean Probiotic Cleanser
Martin uses We Are Wild’s cleanser in the morning, noting that it’s perfect for traveling since it’s in solid stick form. The formula goes on as a balm, turns to cleansing oil and then morphs into a micro-foam that fully cleanses skin without stripping it dry. According to another satisfied customer, “After rinsing, my skin felt so soft and smooth that I almost forgot to put on moisturizer. This has become an essential for me.”
Joanna Vargas Exfoliating Mask
Martin’s review of this mask, in a word: “INCREDIBLE.” (All caps are his.) After cleansing, apply a thin layer to damp skin, gently massaging for one minute. Let it sit for five minutes, then rinse it all off with lukewarm water. Joanna Vargas recommends using it twice weekly, but one customer noted in a review that while it brightens her complexion immediately, “I make sure not to use this more than once a week though, as it can be quite tough on sensitive skin if used too often.”
Susanne Kaufmann Enzympeeling Enzyme Peel
Martin uses this peel when his face feels dull or dehydrated, adding that it wakes up and brighten skin. Made with organically cultivated active plant ingredients, this cleansing gel attempts to slough away dead skin without drying it out. To use it, apply and leave it on for ten minutes, then gently remove with a moist cloth.
Malin + Goetz Vitamin B5 Body Lotion
This lightweight body lotion absorbs quickly but delivers long-lasting moisture thanks to a combination of vitamin B5 and grapeseed oil. Martin says he stocks up on hotel samples of this brand and praises its clean and fresh smell. Another customer notes that it’s “Very lightly scented and absorbs easily,” adding, “Malin + Goetz makes the BEST lotions!”
Verboden Savage Booster Oil
This quick-drying oil is formulated with organic CBD and packed with fatty acids and flavonoids to reduce inflammation, redness and breakouts. Martin mixes two drops into his aftershave to calm his skin, but you can also use it on its own or mix it into your daily moisturizer.
