At 1:14 a.m.: The moon is square Neptune, and the moon void of course begins

In the pre-dawn hours, the Gemini moon squares off with Neptune in Pisces, causing us to question our own judgment. A fear of appearing ignorant prompts us to defer to those who carry themselves with confidence.  Conversations with spiritual “experts,” influencers, or well-known media personalities can trigger imposter syndrome and self-doubt. If they have their lives together, why don’t we? The illusion of certainty compels us to trust their advice over our instincts, and naturally, this line of thinking further divorces us from our own intuition. Those we place our faith in may not have ill intent, but they are just as susceptible to human error as we are. We’re better off taking guidance with a grain of salt.  The moon then begins its void of course, suggesting that we take no action now. Listen and observe. The truth will become clearer once this aspect passes.

At 10:54 a.m.: The moon enters Cancer, and the moon void of course ends

Before noon, the moon enters Cancer, ending its void which began after midnight. We are entering the balsamic moon phase in the run-up to July 28’s Leo new moon, signaling a period of release and clearing. Allow things to go dark and feel into the unknown.  Under the Cancer moon, we desire safety and emotional security. There can be comfort in permitting ourselves to let go, to be unsure of our situation, and to ride the waves as they ebb and flow. When in doubt, Cancerian activities such as cooking, cleansing home spaces, or being in water can bring us back to our center.
