At 12:21 a.m.: The moon is square Jupiter

Just after midnight, the Capricorn moon squares off with Jupiter in Aries, inspiring mood swings. Our aim at this time is to build things that last, and one way we believe this can be accomplished is by sharing our moral imperative with anyone who will listen.  Not only do we assume that posturing will garner us support, but that it will help us to establish ourselves as a leader within our community. Though there is unlikely to be ill-will generated by this transit, we should be mindful not to talk up our plans or projects to the point that we become preachy.

At 7:17 a.m.: Mars is conjunct Chiron

In the morning, Mars and Chiron conjunct, stoking old wounds regarding self-assertion. We may feel defeated or disinclined to compete. Yet standing up for ourselves is part of the medicine now. This doesn’t mean we will have to literally fight another, although a conjunction in Aries suggests that this may be one possible manifestation.  More likely, our inner warrior will be enlivened. We recognize that we have allowed others’ past judgments to “put us in our place,” and redefining our current narrative necessitates embodying courage and bravery. This will not only prove productive for our Selves, but will ultimately be helpful for the collectives to which we belong.
