How do I get a free Slurpee on the day in question?

You can get your free drink by visiting a given 7-Eleven and using the 7Rewards app at checkout. That'll earn you a free, small Slurpee.

Can I get a free Slurpee after Slurpee Day?

Yes. Customers can use the app to get a free Slurpee anytime in July, even though Slurpee Day is on July 11.

The 7-Eleven app is available through the Apple App Store or via Google Play. The app is free.

What is the special cup for Slurpees this year?

For the occasion, there's a special cup, designed by a seven-year-old named Nolan.

"At the age of 3, Nolan was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a cancer that develops in the retina. Nolan’s left eye was surgically removed, and he was fitted for a prosthetic eye, his 'superhero eye' as he likes to call it," the 7-Eleven website says. "In August of that year, he started chemotherapy at CHRISTUS Children’s and comple ted his treatment in time for his 4th birthday."

The website also notes, "Round up or donate at checkout through Aug. 27 to help us continue to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals."
