Chloe Troast is a fast-rising star in New York's comedy world. The New Jersey native, who was born in 1997 and is reported to be either 25 or 26 years old, graduated from New York University in 2019 and quickly immersed herself in the city's vibrant comedy ecosystem. She trained and performed improv and sketch comedy with renowned groups like the Upright Citizens Brigade.
After honing her voice on stage and landing small roles on screen, Troast is poised for mainstream success as she joins the SNL cast. Her versatile skillset makes her a standout addition to TV's longest-running sketch series.

Before attending NYU, Chloe Troast spent her childhood in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, located just 17 miles outside New York City. After graduating college, Troast decided to stay in the Big Apple to pursue her comedy dreams.
Luckily for all of us, she soon found a creative community and performance home at theaters around town, proving herself a dynamic improviser and gifted sketch performer on the city's often cutthroat comedy stages.
What has Chloe Troast been in?
Since graduating NYU, Chloe Troast has stayed busy performing stand-up, improv and sketch comedy across NYC venues. She performed most Friday nights last year at the UCB theater in Manhattan as part of the improv troupe Asylum Mainstage Presents.
She's also one-fourth of A Crazy Amazing Friendship, a comedy group featuring Troast, Jamie Watson, William Banks and Jacob Dysart (Time Out NY has described them as moving around stage like a “swan”), and she's tight with the SNL cast members from Please Don’t Destroy (John Higgins, Ben Marshall and Martin Herlihy), with a role in their upcoming movie for Peacock, Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain.
But, wait! There's more! She also created and starred in the animated short series DOHL'S, which premiered on Adult Swim and is a kooky ride that’s well worth a watch, and recently filmed a role in the Max Original rom-com Sweethearts starring Kiernan Shipka
Her most popular character creation by far is the legendary Pepper Slit, a somehow-still-alive burlesque performer from the 1940s.
