Sofía Vergara Stuns in Slinky Gold Strapless Gown After Divorce Comments

Sofía Vergara is taking revenge body to a whole new level.

The newly-divorced actress recently proved that she's only getting hotter after making a glamorous red carpet appearance just over a week after finally giving some details about her split from Joe Manganiello.

Vergara, 51, stepped out for the US premiere of Griselda held in Miami Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, Jan. 23, and her wardrobe for the outing just further proved that she's still got it.

The America's Got Talent judge was clad in a slinky metallic gold gown for the evening. Featuring a strapless neckline and a form-fitting bodice, the floor-length garment was accessorized with two matching gold bracelets on either arm and some sparkling dangly earrings.

Just over a week before Tuesday's public appearance, Vergara was quoted in an interview with Spanish-language daily newspaper El País, during which she finally spilled the tea on her and Manganiello's relationship downfall.

During the conversation, which was published Monday, Jan. 15, the Modern Family alum revealed it was their conflicting hopes for the future that caused her and Manganiello, 47, to ultimately part ways.

"My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom," she told the outlet. "I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore."

Vergara, who is already a mom to son Manolo, 32, with her first husband, Joe Gonzalez, further insisted that she'd rather watch her son become a parent, rather than have a baby of her own again.

"I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother," she added.
