Sofia Richie Was “Extremely Concerned” About Scott Disick and “Tipped Off” Kourtney Kardashian
Scott Disick recently checked in to (and out of) rehab in Colorado.
Scott’s girlfriend, Sofia Richie, was reportedly concerned about him and tipped off Kourtney Kardashian.
News recently broke that Scott Disick entered a Colorado rehab facility—and thanks to a leaked photo of a Zoom meeting, the reality star has checked out and is on his way home to Los Angeles.
While initial reports claimed that Scott was seeking help for substance abuse issues, his lawyer Marty Singer confirmed he was there to work on past traumas, saying:
“In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother followed by the death of his father three months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas. He did not check in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse.”
Apparently, it’s been difficult for Scott to be cooped up inside amid the coronavirus, and a source tells E! News that he’s been “spiraling in his thoughts.” Scott’s girlfriend, Sofia Richie, first noticed his behavior, and the source says she was “extremely concerned with the choices he was making and how out of control he became very quickly.”
Sofia “tipped off” Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian “because she didn’t know what else to do,” and Kourtney gave Scott an ultimatum. “Kourtney was very upset and knew something was up by his unresponsiveness to matters and convos that pertained to the kids,” another source said. “She had been through this before many times and put a halt to it immediately. She ultimately gave him an ultimatum and he had no choice but to seek help.”
Scott stayed in rehab for only a week due to privacy violations and is now suing. His lawyer says, “He has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”
