Sofia Richie Says She "Doesn't Care" About Anyone Criticizing Her Relationship

There's a 15-year age gap. There's the Kardashian connection. There's the whole reality-TV thing. But Sofia Richie isn't let any of that get to her. In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, she explains that she's got a simple approach to dealing with anyone with criticism for her: she doesn't care.

Richie says that she knows that there's plenty of ammo to hurl her way. The age gap is just one thing. Viewers also feel loyalty towards Kourtney Kardashian, she said, but no matter what she's sticking to her approach.

"[I have] this weird thing where I just don’t care what people think," Richie said, adding that all the comments and negativity don't matter, because it "doesn't bother me because I'm very happy. Why would I let someone from the middle of nowhere ruin that for me?"

Fans could see and feel the tension between Richie and Disick's ex when the three of them appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians this season. But Richie says that she's prepared for that and any future situations: "I mean, just be nice. There’s no reason not to be nice," she said.

Entertainment Tonight notes that viewers shouldn't expect to see Richie on the show again any time soon. She's looking to get into acting and focusing on that, not reality TV.

"I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, but 2020 is [the year of] no fear!" she said in February. "I'm gonna be doing acting stuff really soon."
