Why Sofia Vergara says she and Joe Manganiello are so compatible: 'We have the same flavor inside'

Sofia Vergara is Latina and proud — but she married an Italian man. Despite their different backgrounds, though, the “beautiful” and “spectacular” Joe Manganiello gets the Modern Family star completely.

“He’s loud like me, he is very passionate like me. We found each other and I don’t think we scare each other,” said Vergara of her husband. The star recently launched Eby — a subscription service for underwear that will benefit underprivileged women by providing microloans across the globe.

Besides the obvious reasons why Vergara would be intimidating, her large family, which Manganiello has seemingly slid right into, would most likely scare many off. But Manganiello gets it. Why? “We have the same flavor inside,” Vergara perfectly explained.
