Solange Knowles knows how to make a statement — especially when it comes to fashion. The singer has long been one of our style favorites, and the recent drop of the music videos from her album, A Seat at the Table, are full of breathtaking visuals.

She brought some of those elements to the stage on Thursday, performing on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.” For the occasion, Solange and her backup dancers wore red jumpsuits connected together by swaths of cloth — a nod to the Issey Miyake-inspired purple ensembles from her video for “Cranes in the Sky.”

Like the outfits in the video, Solange’s stage looks were made in a collaboration between Tim White and her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson. The proud mama hopped on Instagram to show off her work — and heap praise on her youngest daughter. “These are jumpsuits that I designed and Tim White made for Solange’s performance on Jimmy Fallon, they make our work look good,” she wrote. “I am soo proud of my baby ??can’t wait to see the performance.” Tina added that it was Solange’s idea to connect the jumpsuits. “She’s always thinking out the box.”

Tina is no stranger to design — she used to whip up costumes back in the day for Destiny’s Child. Looks like she’s back at it!
