Somber David Schwimmer Spotted for the First Time Since Matthew Perry's Death

David Schwimmer kept a low profile during a recent solo outing just two days after the devastating news of Matthew Perry's death broke.
The grief-stricken actor was photographed by himself for the first time since the sudden death of his friend while taking a short stroll in New York City on Monday, Oct. 30, wearing an all-black ensemble in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
The 56-year-old was nearly unrecognizable, wearing a black puffer jacket, black pants, a navy blue baseball cap and a white KN95 mask that covered a majority of his face. According to the outlet, Schwimmer didn't walk too far before he hopped into an SUV.
One day prior, the actor was also spotted by the outlet leaving his NYC apartment alongside his ex-wife Zoe Buckman, their 12-year-old daughter Cleo and another unidentified child of similar age.
Schwimmer, who is still mourning the unfathomable loss, has yet to issue an official statement regarding the passing of his former Friends co-star. Other castmates, however, including the creators of the hit sitcom, have shared tearjerking tributes online honoring the late actor and comedian–one of Perry's former co-stars is even considering adopting the furbaby he left behind, a Golden Doodle named Alfred.
Countless other Hollywood stars, performers and fans have also penned touching tributes and erected memorials ensuring the actor's talent and legacy will be treasured for years to come.
Perry was only 54 when he tragically passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, following an apparent drowning just hours after he played a game of pickleball. Though an autopsy has yet to confirm his cause of death, preliminary reports suggest first responders were called to his Los Angeles-area home on Saturday after a call came in for a potential cardiac arrest.
