COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – From annual festivals and a county fair, to a live performance from actor and comedian Jay Leno, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.
Scioto Audubon Metro Park, Sept. 13-14
The festival brings outdoor recreation, music, food and drinks for all to enjoy. The two day event will also feature activities including kayaking, a climbing competition and even an opportunity to camp under the stars.

The three-day festival will offer traditional German Oktoberfest foods, drinks and live entertainment to Columbus.
Mershon Auditorium, Sept. 13
Stand-up comedian and acclaimed talk show host Jay Leno will perform at Ohio State University’s Mershon Auditorium.

The Delaware County Fair returns this year with events, traditions and more for all to enjoy. Along with food, rides and entertainment, there will also be several exhibits, competitions and more.
Maloney Park, Sept. 14
The community ride is for kids ages 4 to 14. Rider check in begins at 9 a.m. with the ride starting at 10 a.m. The ride is part of a series from Pelotonia to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. This is the first youth cycling event in the Linden community.
Corner of S. Civic Center Drive and W. Rich St., Sept. 14 at 11 a.m.
To kick off the start of Latino Heritage Month, a parade will be held in the streets of Columbus, expecting to draw in thousands of participants and spectators. The parade will highlight the rich heritage and contributions of the Latino community.

DogFest is Canine Companions’ signature event and largest fundraiser of the year. The family and dog-friendly event takes place during National Service Dog Month and celebrates the fundraising efforts.

Enjoy your afternoon and celebrate the fall season in Hilliard with games, live music, pumpkin decorating, food trucks and more.
Columbus Zoo Lantern Festival: Through Sept. 29
4850 Powell Road., Powell 7 to 10 p.m.
A family-friendly featuring over 70 sets of colorful LED animal lanterns that showcase wildlife scenes from around the globe. Takes place Thursdays through Sundays.
Ohio Renaissance Festival: Through Oct. 27
