SONIC Has a New Milkshake That Is Made With Brownie Batter and Vanilla Ice Cream
SONIC Drive-In already has us covered for the season with its new Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon Slush, but that hasn’t stopped it from giving us another frozen treat. The fast food spot has just introduced the Brownie Batter Shake for those craving a chocolatey concoction.
The sippable treat is made with SONIC’s 100% real vanilla ice cream that is hand-mixed with rich chocolate brownie batter. It sounds simple, but there’s nothing simple about the flavor that comes from mixing ice cream with brownie batter. And it’s sure to be worth a second, third, and fourth order.
In addition to the new Brownie Batter Shake, SONIC has brought back the Yellow Cake Batter Shake that was unveiled last summer. It blends 100% real vanilla ice cream with yellow cake batter. Basically, both of these treats are perfect for the people who throw caution to the wind and eat batter before throwing it in the oven, but SONIC is giving us a safe way to do it.
You can order the Brownie Batter Shake and Yellow Cake Batter Shake now through Aug. 2. The limited-edition treats can be ordered in advance through the SONIC app or at the drive-thru.
Now it’s time to decide which of these batter-inspired treats you’re going to try first. Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with either, but obviously we’re going to have to try both of them. Is anyone else thinking of mixing them together for a brownie-yellow cake batter shake extravaganza?!
