Soorty Supports Transparency Efforts With Upgraded Website

Vertically integrated denim manufacturer Soorty unveiled a refreshed website to better support its storytelling and transparency efforts.

Designed with visitors in mind, the user-friendly interface showcases how the Pakistani company weaves sustainability and responsible production throughout its business. Users are taken through every part of the jeans-making process from fiber spinning to the creation of the final product.

The website provides insight into Soorty’s strategies for reducing waste, recycling water and incorporating renewable energy. A section is dedicated to the Soorty Organic Cotton Initiative, a project to transition more than 1,000 farmer-families from conventional cotton farming to organic cotton cultivation in Naal, Pakistan. Another section provides details about Second Life, Soorty’s brand of recycled cotton products.

To enhance transparency, the site features a dedicated section where Soorty shares its sourcing, production and impact data. It includes the Life Cycle Impact Assessment under the ISO 10440 and 14044 Guidelines of 15 products and information on how Soorty is using Haelixa technology to physically mark, trace, and authenticate Soorty products in fiber or garment form.

Users can also explore Soorty’s seasonal collections and how the producer is utilizing digital fabric library, 3-D sampling and AI.

Beyond product and production, Soorty said the website offers a “window into life at Soorty,” highlighting the company’s efforts to foster diversity, equality and professional growth within its workforce.
