Did Sophie Turner forget to wear pants to 'Game of Thrones' co-stars' wedding?
Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, who play sisters Sansa and Arya Stark on the HBO show, went as each other’s date to the wedding of Kit Harington (their sort-of-brother-but-not-really on the show) and Rose Leslie, and they both donned graphic black-and-red looks.
While Williams wore a relatively tame and trendy black graphic jumpsuit and red heels, Turner turned it up in a very daring look. The newly engaged actress, who is planning her own wedding to singer Joe Jonas (who she was seen Facetiming with), was photographed wearing what appears to be a red jacket and thigh-high boots.
She styled the look with a black-and-white monogrammed crossbody bag and red-framed sunglasses. Her jacket laced up the sides, and she wore her blonde locks straight and smooth.
Williams sported glasses and a black and white clutch with a red crab image on it.

On a fan account dedicated to Turner, people were not particularly loving the look.
One wrote, “Wow weddings have changed, red dress that covers nothing.”
Another, obviously not a fan of either look, wrote, “They look weird. they clearly missed the memo.”
Someone brought up the recent nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, of course. “Seriously like wear pretty dresses like people wore in Prince Harry wedding,” they wrote.
We’re not sure if wedding attire dress code was mentioned in the invitations, but according to wedding website The Knot, the appropriate wedding attire for a daytime wedding is “a summer sundress or a skirt or pants with a nice blouse.”
Unfortunately, we’ll likely never know if there was a pants emergency or whether this was an intentional sartorial choice.
It’s called fashion, honey. Look it up
