The drama surrounding Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' divorce has expanded within the family, as Turner and Nick Jonas' wife Priyanka Chopra unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Strangely enough, Turner continues to follow her estranged husband's siblings Nick, Kevin, and Frankie on the social media platform, as well as Kevin's wife Danielle. She's also still mutuals with Joe. It's unknown what happened between the women for them to cut ties on social media.
Turner and Chopra rarely spoke about their dynamic as sisters-in-law, but in her March 2020 interview with Elle, the Game of Thrones alum shed light onto her friendship with the 38-year-old.
"With Pri, especially, it’s kind of crazy. You have to remind yourself that she's basically had a 20-year career in Bollywood already. She's like the biggest thing in India right now," she said. "When we went there for her and Nick's wedding, we were treated like royalty. They worship her over there."
At the time, Turner said Chopra is "just the nicest person" and gushed about how lucky she was that the Indian actress lived only 10 minutes away. "It's like we're all one big family, because the boys are best friends."
Chopra had also spoken about how much she enjoys spending time with her sisters-in-law while speaking with Marie Claire in 2021, noting, "We never get to meet as often as the world thinks we do, but whenever we end up together, it's a huge-ass party. It's all our parents, the girls and the boys."
On Sept. 5, Joe filed for divorce from Turner after four years of marriage. Two weeks later, the actress sued him, alleging that he'd been unlawfully keeping their children in the U.S. after agreeing to make England their permanent home.
Recently, the former couple reached a custody agreement for their daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 15 months. They shared in a joint statement, "After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents."
