I just saw the news and am so sorry to learn that your 30-year-old adult boyfriend Michael Rotondo lost his court case and will no longer be allowed to live with his parents. It looks like he really tried and I'm so proud of him for deciding to represent himself in court, but in the end, his parents won their legal battle to kick him out. What a bummer, I'm sure this is a really hard time for all involved, but especially for your boyfriend, who is 30, an adult.

If I'm being honest, I feel like the judge could've at least let him remain in his parents' home for another six months to get himself in order, like he asked. So like, now I guess he not only has to vacate the premises, but also manage to find a job??? Ridiculous.

I mean, it's like he said in court: He's wasn't "bothering them," and he was even doing his own laundry and everything. So what if he was living rent-free. So what? Don't his parents love their large adult (30-year-old) son? Don't they just want to see him happy?

And seriously - what is with all those letters his parents wrote asking him to please vacate the home. Can you believe they had the audacity to give him a measly $1,100 to help him find a new place? Are they even aware of how hard it is to find an apartment in the thriving metropolis of Syracuse, New York, where the average rent is just shy of $800 a month?

Anyway, I'm just so sorry about it all. I wish him well on his move and luck on his job search.
