A Peoria storefront that once housed Blu-Ray movies will soon feature brunch and bloody marys.

Bloody Mary Brunch Company is working to open in the former Family Video – situated at 708 W. Glen Ave. The business is described as a place where customers will find "a Southern inspired, premium breakfast, brunch and lunch menu," according to a Q&A style press release from owner Chris Herold, who also owns West Town Tap and Herold's Pizza Oven.

A few years ago, Family Video announced it would close its roughly 250 remaining locations, which included the West Glen Avenue store.

The Q&A style press release stated: “We have had several hiccups in the construction in converting this building from Family Video into the Bloody Mary Brunch Company.”
