Spoilers: Here’s What Happens Between Clayton and Susie During Tonight’s ‘Bachelor’
Warning: Major Bachelor finale spoilers ahead!
I think we can all agree that part one of The Bachelor’s two-night finale was absolutely off the rails, and tonight’s episode promises to be even more wild. But if you can’t wait to find out what happens when Clayton Echard meets up with Susie Evans for a final shot at love, good news: spoilers have arrived.
To catch everyone up real quick, last night, Clayton casually informed Gabby and Rachel that he loved both of them, had been intimate with both of them, and, lol, also loved Susie. After a lot of confusion and crying, Gabby and Rachel ultimately decided to continue with the show and meet Clayton’s parents, only to have him decide he was, in fact, still the “most” in love with Susie. Lucky for him, producers just happened to have Susie stashed away in some house in Iceland, which means tonight she and Clayton will come face-to-face. So...does it all work out?
Lol. No.
Bachelor Nation spoiler expert Reality Steve (who has accurately reported on basically every season) says that Clayton and Susie meet up, he apologizes for his behavior during fantasy suites, and she agrees to stay and give things another shot. At this point, Susie meets Clayton’s parents and it goes well enough that he sends Rachel and Gabby home. (They are, understandably, not thrilled.) But here’s where things get really intense: Clayton apparently tells Susie he is in love with her during their final rose ceremony, and she informs him she doesn’t share the sentiment and leaves.
!!!!!!!
As Reality Steve put it, “Clayton did tell Susie he was in love with her. Susie tells Clayton in return that she is NOT in love with him, and she walks away. Clayton leaves Iceland single.”
Is there a chance they’re back together? Unclear. Reality Steve notes that some “signs have pointed to them being back together, and some haven’t.” But obviously, we’ll find out during tonight’s episode exactly where their relationship stands right now and how Gabby and Rachel are feeling about everything.
