Sprite Teams Up With Wendy's to Bring Back Fan-Favorite Remix Flavor
Wendy's fast food chain
A Sprite Remix flavor is finally returning after being discontinued nearly two decades ago–but you'll only find it at Wendy's.
Sprite Remix Aruba Jam originally disappeared in 2006, but now it's been reborn in the Coke Freestyle machines at the beloved burger joint for a limited time, according to information shared with foodie influencer Markie_Devo, who regularly tests and previews limited-time offers and new menu additions from fast food chains and snack companies.
The limited-edition return has already been spotted in at least one Wendy's location–in Scottsboro, Ala.–per a photo uploaded to Reddit's soda-dedicated forum. It's also available in a sugar-free option.
For those who need a refill, the nostalgia-filled variety takes the traditional lemon-lime soda up a notch by adding a fruity berry flavor to the mix.

No word on how long the beloved flavor, which first debuted in 2005, will be around, but fans are clearly happy it's back for now.
"Yes!!!! Let’s go!!! I will go to wendys just for this!! But lets bring this back out in stores??????," one Instagram user wrote.
"STOPPPPP THIS WAS THE BEST SPRITE EVERRRRR," someone else declared.
"Yooo this is amazing!! I wish they would have the original Remix but I’m still just as pumped for this!" another exclaimed.
The news comes just a few weeks after the Coca-Cola brand revealed it would release a new limited-edition flavor in bottles and cans wherever you buy Sprite.
Fans can now not only get their hands on the nostalgia-filled flavor of Aruba Jam at Wendy's but also the coolest flavor of Sprite to ever exist–literally.
Called Sprite Chill, the new soda is said to be a refreshing twist on the classic cherry-lime pairing as a press release shared with Parade explains that it takes advantage of "a proprietary blend of cooling agents to deliver a uniquely elevated sensory experience."
Sprite Chill will only be available until July or while supplies last.
