Is Spy x Family Code: White canon?
Canon is a little bit tricky when it comes to Spy x Family Code: White. Some other anime have a clear answer to whether or not something is canon, as creators tend to say that only the content derived from the manga is canon.
Spy x Family Code: White is not based on content in the manga, and therefore is assumed not to be canon.
That said, the film was supervised by the manga creator, Tatsuya Endo, so it’s a little bit unclear where this fits into the greater canon. For now, because it’s not portrayed in the manga, we’re saying it’s not canon until it’s confirmed otherwise.
Spy x Family Code: White Plot
Spy x Family will see Loid, Yor, and Anya traveling to a winter wonderland for a family holiday, although as is usually the case with Spy x Family, there’s a lot more to it than meets the eye.
Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the film:
He's a spy. She's an assassin. Together, Loid and Yor keep their double lives to themselves while pretending to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepath, knows both of their exciting secrets unbeknownst to them. While under the guise of taking his family on a weekend winter getaway, Loid's attempt to make progress on his current mission Operation Strix proves difficult when Anya mistakenly gets involved and triggers events that threaten world peace!
