Italian actor and esteemed home cook Stanley Tucci has been teasing his Instagram followers for days with a "something is coming" Reel. I've been stalking his feed since this post went up, eager to get a first glimpse of whatever was happening. He finally revealed the news today and fans (including me) went wild.

This morning I woke up early to find that Tucci has collaborated with GreenPan, the PFAS_free ceramic nonstick cookware, on a cookware line. "This is the cookware that makes cooking easier and will help you enjoy your life through food," says Tucci.

The TUCCI by GreenPan cookware collection is made in Italy, of course, and is inspired by the actor's modern, minimalist style. The collection introduces GreenPan’s Woven Induction Technology, which according to GreenPan, tightly weaves bands of stainless steel together infusing them into a 5mm thick forged base.
What does that mean in practical terms? It means that the pans are strong and sturdy, will work on any cooktop (including induction) and won't bend or warp. They're also oven-safe so they can go from stovetop to oven to table with ease.

The company says that the stay-flat cooking surface will keep oil where you want it, which lets the cook have more control over how much fat they use. Because the food is in direct contact with the pan, your food will be more evenly browned. And we all know that browned food is flavorful food.
What I love most about the cookware so far, is the subtle colors that are said to be inspired by Stanley’s home and seemingly reflect his personal cooking style. They’re both livable and sophisticated, a balance of modern style and timeless charm — just like the actor himself.
The pans are currently sold exclusively at Williams Sonoma in Venetian Teal, Carrara White, Stainless Steel and Milano Black. All of the pans have a Piazza Grey interior. The Tucci name is stamped on the side and bottom of the pan, so everyone will know who signed off on your cookware.
The TUCCI by GreenPan Cookware Collection includes both single pans and sets. Here are some highlights from the collection.
The Stanley Pan A 6.5-quart pan that’s perfect for making meals for a crowd or finishing pasta without getting sauce all over the place. It's also large enough for browning and braising large cuts of meat. PRICE: $199.99
Saute? Pan Spacious and streamlined, this is a big pan that doesn’t feel big. I'm imagining cooking broccoli rabe or frying Italian peppers in it, but there's so much this pan can do. (Only available in the 11-piece set.)
Pasta Pot You can't have a Tucci set without a pasta pot. And this one holds up to 2 pounds pasta, so you'll have plenty of room to cook for your crowd. (Only available in the 11-piece set.)
Saucepans The saucepans (2 quart and 4 quart) have curved edges for better stirring and high walls to prevent splashing and spills. PRICE: 2-quart-$149.95, 4-quart-$179.95
Fry pans These smart skillets nest inside each other for easy storage. Each fry pan also comes with its own unique handle design to make sure the skillet is balanced. The set comes with an 8-inch and 10-inch model. PRICE: 8” $99.95, 2-piece set (8” and 10”) $179.95, 12” covered frypan $179.95
Dutch oven The solid handles of the Dutch oven are inspired by vintage Italian pots that Tucci inherited from his mother. The big 6.5-quart pot is has clean, simple lines and a sturdy grip that helps you easily maneuver it around your kitchen. It's also pretty enough to leave out on the stove when it's not in use. PRICE: $299.95
