Steam Deck OLED: How To Order The Upgraded Steam Deck
Introducing Steam Deck OLED
Late last week, Valve announced a new OLED Steam Deck, which is packed with a bunch of upgrades that almost make it feel like a real Steam Deck successor. It’s not quite that, at least not yet, but it is easily the best model to go to if you haven’t picked one up yet, or if your current Steam Deck is feeling a bit aged.
Preorders for the Steam Deck OLED open up very soon, and if prior runs of the Steam Deck are anything to go by, Valve could run out of stock very quickly. Thankfully, Valve has told us exactly when Steam Deck OLED preorders go live, and where to get them, so we’ve put together this handy how-to guide to make sure you don’t miss out on this gorgeous new piece of tech.
Steam Deck OLED: Order Times
The Steam Deck OLED 512GB and 1TB models will go on sale at 10am PT on November 16, 2023. This seems to be a global time, so it doesn’t matter if you’re in the US, the UK, or South Korea, the OLED model of the Steam Deck will go on sale at exactly the same time.
Here are the Steam Deck OLED preorder times for every relevant region:

Steam Deck OLED: How To Preorder
The Steam Deck OLED will be available to order from the times listed above on the official Steam page for the Steam Deck. Buyers in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe will be able to pick up either the 512GB model or the 1TB model at that page, while buyers in the US and Canada will also be able to pick up the special Limited Edition console with a smoky translucent shell — Europeans unfortunately miss out on that one.
Buyers in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will be able to order both the 512GB model and the 1TB model of the Steam Deck OLED through Komodo, Valve’s distribution partner in Asia. Like Europe, Asian countries won’t get the Limited Edition version, but they will be able to buy it in person at select stores in Japan.
Steam Deck OLED 512GB and 1TB models will be available for sale on November 16th, 10AM PST in the US, Canada, UK, and EU on Steam (and in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong via Komodo).

Valve says that, at launch, customers will only be able to buy one of each model of the OLED model per week, though that restriction is likely to be lifted once stock has stabilized.
